Objective:
Allow for the testing of cabinet door and drawer latches
Allow for many different adjustments to simulate different cabinet designs
Have replaceable wood pieces for the latches to simulate different cabinet materials
Improve current manual/analog gauge test methods to allow for more accurate failure data
Process:
Assembled multiple parts from the 8020 library and McMaster in SolidWorks
Designed for the use with an electronically controlled compressed cylinder
Programmed a user interface with Processing
Allowed Arduino control of a pressure regulator
Results:
The designs were completed and quoted however the project was on pause due to the current budget
