I am a graduating engineering student from Northeastern University seeking opportunities after graduation. I will graduate this April with a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechatronics. I am a true engineer at heart and always interested in how things work, and how they can be improved. I tend to be driven by one main core value: “If it’s worth doing, It’s worth doing well.” -Unkown I want to be able to work in a multidisciplinary team and learn as much as possible from my colleagues. I am always looking to expand my knowledge and become the best I can be. This is evident in my academics, throughout my work experience, and on the track as a track athlete.
I recently completed a co-op at MORSE CORP. There I acted as a member of the design and build team. I was able to learn a lot from the software developers and greatly improved my coding skills as well as worked on very interesting projects. One of which is the FPV payload where I worked closely with the electrical engineer to ensure the electromagnetic interference was low and signal could be received at range.
In previous co-op roles, I acted as head design engineer at Lyndra Inc. I where gained confidence to take on design and leadership roles in engineering. A year ago I finished a co-op at EPAM Continuum where I worked on multiple medical device projects and learned how to manually machine on a Bridgeport. Check out my knife robot project that allowed me to challenge myself and learn multiple new skills, including machining and image analysis with python. Outside of the office there is a good chance you will find me somewhere around Boston running as I manage to fit in between 70-100 miles per week for my training. I spent the past two years as captain of both the Varsity Track and Cross Country teams at Northeastern and constantly worked to be the best student athlete I can be. This outdoor season was cancelled, but I plan to continue to run competitively when races start up again. In my free time (that I don't spend running) I love to play board and card games such as Exploding Kittens, Dungeons & Dragons, and Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. I also enjoy hiking, woodworking, and working on personal projects such as an Arduino controlled Crockpot (Sous-Vide cooker) and my Nerf Chronograph.
My final courses at Northeastern are focused on my masters in mechatronics. I am currently learning how to utilize ROS and Ubuntu to interface with navigation sensors (cameras, IMUs, GPS), taking a class in electric drives, and improving my SolidWorks skills in the SolidWorks class at Northeastern. I just passed the SolidWorks CSWP. I am also using my spare time to learn JavaScript and hope to soon rebuild this website from scratch with my new knowledge.
