Objectives:
Objectives:
- Create a golf- like tabletop strategy and skill game
- Learn what it is like to design and play a game
- Build the game in a quick hackathon type way for an Instructables contest
- Brainstorm Game ideas
- Determine the best way to play
- Design the Board and pieces (club heads in Solidworks, other parts in Solidworks)
- Get the main pieces Lasercut
- Assemble the game
- Playtest!
- The game was not easy to play, it was very hard to get the "golf ball" in the hole
- The balls rolled too much on the play surface
- It was not a terrible game, but not one that is played every weekend either
- Future games will likely build off this experience
- Micro Golf doesn't have a very viable user base, as it is too skill based, but the lessons learned will allow better games to be created in the future
